Job Summary
Perform accounting and general ledger activities, support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, and prepare financial, regulatory, and management reports. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, perform reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy, and create management information dashboards. Drive process improvements to strengthen financial controls while partnering with global stakeholders to deliver reporting obligations on time. This role offers exposure to global finance teams in Manila and Amsterdam within ING's Global Finance Services, focusing on Financial Markets, Treasury, and Payment Services.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles
- Experience in accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or general ledger activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working with international teams
Desired Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Exposure to banking products, financial markets, or lending products
- Experience supporting UAT testing or finance transformation initiatives
