Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Summary
Prepare routine and ad-hoc financial and operational reports for Executive Management and departments. Accurately prepare various financial regulatory filings and data calls while compiling and analyzing reports to identify discrepancies requiring management attention. Design, develop, document, and maintain Power BI reports and financial infrastructure, including quality assurance and regression testing. Analyze business process and product changes to ensure proper documentation and implementation of reporting needs. Support special projects and ad-hoc analysis requests. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems, GAAP knowledge, and experience with data analytics and BI tools. Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in Accounting Information Systems, Accounting or Finance
- Practical knowledge and understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principals
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-starter attitude
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively on tasks with competing priority
- Experience working in dynamic and team environment
- Fast learner
- Interpersonal skills to develop relationship between the business and the system to enhance the appropriate flow of information
Desired Qualifications
- Enterprise resource planning and accounting information systems experience
- Experience with data analytics, database management software, DAX and BI tools
- Financial services or insurance industry experience
