Financial & Regulatory Reporting Administrator

Job Summary

Prepare and coordinate quarterly Consolidated Reports of Condition and Income (Call Report), weekly FR2900 and FR2644, and other FDIC and Federal Reserve regulatory filings. Administer collateralized deposit processes, including Federal Home Loan Bank letters of credit and the North Carolina collateral pool. Support brokered deposit activity, equity compensation transactions, and federal/state estimated tax payments. Maintain supporting documentation, reconciliations, and controls to ensure audit trails for regulatory examinations and internal audits. Identify process improvements for reporting accuracy and efficiency. Work with strict regulatory deadlines and independently manage complex finance processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Three to five or more years of relevant experience in banking, accounting, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or a related area
  • Experience with bank regulatory reporting, including the Call Report
  • Working knowledge of banking products, general ledger accounting, and financial statements
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work effectively with large or complex data sets
  • Ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory reporting instructions and accounting guidance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to independently manage multiple recurring processes and meet strict regulatory and financial reporting deadlines
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Three to five or more years of relevant experience in banking, accounting, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or a related area preferred
  • Experience with bank regulatory reporting, including the Call Report, strongly preferred
