Job Summary
Financial Product Owner responsible for end-to-end lifecycle of product lines in the poultry-finance domain. Lead design/improvement of financial processes (purchase, sales, order management), oversee period-end financial reporting, develop a product vision/roadmap aligned with business objectives, conduct customer research and market analysis, collaborate across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver high-quality software on time and within scope, maintain a prioritized backlog, write user stories with acceptance criteria, monitor KPIs and usage analytics, and drive Agile rituals (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). Requires cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, data-informed decision-making, and ability to adapt to changing requirements. Travel up to 5 days every 2-3 months for direct customer interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of product development for software
- Proficiency in managing month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Poultry industry experience/knowledge is preferred
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially modules related to accounting, financial reporting, and order management
- Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed requirements for development teams
- Travel: Up to 5 days every 2-3 months for customer interactions
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, or related field
- Master’s degree is a plus
- 5+ years of product development for software
