Financial Planning Associate (Ref: GM)

Job Summary
Conduct client meetings, including reviews, initial engagements, and advice presentations, while preparing detailed file notes to accurately record interactions. Facilitate workflow meetings with support teams to drive priorities and oversee the execution of operational processes. Research and develop financial strategies across super, risk, investment, debt, SMSF, income support, and estate planning, then review and finalise advice documents before client delivery. Oversee implementation of advice, manage adviser calendars, and assist in onboarding new clients to build relationships. Manage ongoing client relationships as the primary point of contact for queries, ensuring regular communication and professional service delivery. Contribute to developing new tools and processes to increase team efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- At least five (5) years in a similar role
- High level understanding of client needs, investment strategies and risk profiles
- Understanding of Compliance Frameworks and Requirements of Advice Documents
- Outstanding customer service and client management skills
- Strong organisational and facilitation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Administration & IT skills
Desired Qualifications
- Degree qualified (preferable)
- Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (preferable)
- Xplan is advantageous
