Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the College, including maintaining a multi-year financial model, net tuition forecasting, staffing planning alignment with HR and the Provost's Office, and leading the annual budget development process. Collaborate with Institutional Research, Student Engagement, and other stakeholders to produce forecasts, variance analyses, and recommendations for revenue enhancement and cost optimization. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Trustees, and serve as the functional lead for budgeting and planning systems (Oracle EPM, Oracle Workforce Planning, Oracle SmartView), ensuring data integrity, version control, testing, and ongoing tool optimization. Develop management reports and dashboards to support informed decision-making and provide clear financial insights to executives. Requires strong budgeting, forecasting, analytics capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Five to seven years of budgeting/financial planning experience
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting in higher education preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AI-enabled tools like Copilot
- Experience with ERP/ budgeting systems and data analysis
