Job Summary
Financial Planning Analyst at Alliance Defending Freedom who will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning through development of financial models, analysis of performance and trends, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. The role collaborates with the Finance team to monitor spending, prepare schedules for funding proposals, identify financial risks and opportunities, and drive process improvements including automation of tools and processes. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics or related field, strong Excel and financial modeling skills, GAAP knowledge, and clear communication for presenting complex financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences. Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of related experience and experience with Power BI, Domo, Sage Intacct, and Limelight. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proficient in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development using BI tools
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
