Job Summary
Entry-Level FP&A Analyst role within Alta Equipment Group's Finance team focusing on financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis. Responsibilities include assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts; supporting budgeting/forecasting; performing variance analysis; collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers; maintaining financial models and dashboards; preparing presentations for senior leadership; ensuring accuracy of financial data; and leading ad-hoc analyses and special projects. Required to have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP/BI tools and GAAP knowledge are preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
