Job Summary
Financial Planner responsible for providing mass affluent investing clients with comprehensive financial planning and advice. Focus on relationship management, advice and business development to identify clients' life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews, build long-term relationships, conduct reporting and analysis to inform recommendations, monitor service and productivity, and contribute to team and department goals. Requires University Degree (preferred), 3–5 years of financial services experience, CIRO RR license within 120 days, and CFP designation or eligibility within the first few years. Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, plus knowledge of regulatory environment and risk management. The role emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and delivering personalized wealth solutions within TD Wealth across Canada.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree (preferred)
- CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within first 120 days in role
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within first 3 years in role
- CFP Eligibility requirements: University Degree OR meet one of the following: Have been a QAFP professional in good standing for a minimum of 5 years at the time of applying
- 3 – 5 years within the financial services industry managing client relationships, providing financial advice and tailored investment solutions (preferred)
