Job Summary
Advises customers and internal sales representatives on retirement income plan development, including explaining product features and making new recommendations. Reviews and prepares comprehensive financial plans and needs assessments by entering data into approved planning software like NaviPlan. Partners with sales to ensure awareness of open proposals and drives status and outcomes. Develops and conducts producer training in the corporate office and field, while researching complex technical questions for the sales force. Conducts periodic retirement planning seminars for customers and producers virtually or in person. Maintains detailed records of customer interactions and ensures ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
Required Qualifications
- CFP designation
- Series 6 license
- Series 7 license
- FINRA 6 license
- Bachelor's degree in finance
- Two years of experience in the financial services industry
- Specialization in financial planning
- Knowledge of Profiles or Money Guide Pro or similar financial planning software
- In-depth understanding of the industry, financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management and client service strategies
- Knowledge of investment products
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Valid credit and/or background check
- Ability to obtain required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit
