Job Summary

Partner with clients to understand life and financial objectives, conduct in-depth financial reviews, and foster long-term connections through ongoing support. Leverage data-driven insights to analyze results, develop recommendations, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of financial programs. Collaborate with your team to achieve shared objectives while enhancing the client experience and monitoring productivity to identify efficiency opportunities. Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to ensure you remain at the forefront of financial planning. Share your expertise by mentoring colleagues and uphold a strong culture of risk management. This role offers a unique entrepreneurial business model with commission-based earnings and a guaranteed base salary for the first four years.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3–5 years of experience in banking services
  • Willingness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
  • Commitment to achieving the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within the first three years in the role
  • CFP Eligibility requirements: University Degree OR meet one of the following: Up to 10 years of qualifying work experience
  • CFP Eligibility requirements: Have been a QAFP professional in good standing for a minimum of 5 years at the time of applying

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in banking services, with a track record of managing client relationships and providing tailored investment advice (preferred)
  • A genuine passion for financial planning and a drive to help clients realize their financial and life goals
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with experience in business development, networking, and high-value sales
  • A comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape, economic trends, and regulatory requirements
