Job Summary

Deliver financial and investment planning advice to help customers achieve their goals by determining needs and providing solutions through managed products like mutual funds and retirement savings. Proactively engage new and existing prospects with needs-based assessments to grow loyalty, generate appointments, and build lasting relationships. Implement business development strategies including outbound calling and branch referrals to acquire new business while supporting sales and performance targets. Develop and execute relationship management plans, analyzing data to provide strategic recommendations and introducing clients to investment strategies aligned with their objectives. Maintain current knowledge of personal investment products and trends to integrate marketing programs into customer conversations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • post-secondary degree in related field of study
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must meet the regulatory / governing body licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment
  • Advanced working knowledge of financial industry
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
