Job Summary
Process card transactions, ACH, wire transfers, and checks while reviewing activities for fraud and regulatory compliance. Answer member inquiries regarding account maintenance, address changes, and transfer requests, then resolve issues across transaction types. Execute daily Skip A Pay reports, Federal Reclamations, and Courtesy Pay Repayment plans, ensuring adherence to Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Maintain confidentiality with member data and complete required compliance training.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience
- A high school degree or equivalent
- Regular attendance and timeliness
- Ability to sit or stand for a significant period of time
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to reach above or below normal body position, stoop or bend
- Ability to carry, lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- A normal range of hearing, vision, and speech
- Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- Knowledge of Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC)
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations
- Knowledge of Identity Theft Red Flags
- Knowledge of other compliance related Policies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to non-public information about members and the Credit Union
- Knowledge of modern office equipment
- Knowledge of technology and various software programs including Symitar
- Knowledge of credit union operations, procedures, products, services, philosophies, practices, and systems
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
- Ability to organize and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively with members and employees
- Ability to self direct with the initiative and drive necessary to activate a project from conception through completion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skill in typing and personal computer
- Successful completion of all applicable compliance training and testing
