Job Summary
Audit paid claims for overpayments using systems-based queries, specialized reporting, and research. Interact with staff and management from other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Validate overpayments, vendor invoices, and contractual issues with recovery and collection vendors. Handle complex case research and resolution to recover overpayments and maintain unprocessed cash and accounts receivable processes. Review and monitor associate work for quality standards, verify department policy accuracy, and assist in special projects to prevent overpayments and identify process improvements. Complete special projects with minimal supervision. Research voluntary refunds for accuracy and require accurate balancing of all accounts.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 4 years of claims processing and/or customer service experience
- any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- in-office 1 - 2 days per week
- reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s)
Desired Qualifications
- AA/AS or higher level degree
- Experience with systems such as Facets, CIW, CCert, ACR, Work IQ, BlueSquared, and WGS
