Job Summary
Financial Operations Analyst responsible for completing financial activities for accurate and timely reporting, developing technical spreadsheet-based solutions, and supporting balance sheet and P&L reporting. Focused on tactical, transactional (exception) data analysis, communicating exception items across functions, and providing tactical recommendations based on data. Works with management in operations, sales compensation, and enrollment/billing, liaises with banks on premium collection status, coordinates training for lower-level associates, and aids in IT-related system testing and application releases within Finance. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence at least weekly, reporting to Pulse Point location in Norfolk, VA; alternate locations considered within commuting distance.
Required Qualifications
- AA/AS in accounting or finance
- experience with relational databases and mainframe and client server report writers
- BA/BS degree preferred
