Job Summary
Develop and maintain integrated financial models for M&A, debt, equity fundraising, and valuations using best practices. Build cash flow, operational, and decision-support models while analyzing complex datasets with tools like Power BI or Alteryx. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across M&A, Debt Advisory, and Valuations to deliver commercially focused advice and meaningful insights to clients. This Senior Associate role supports Interpath's growing South African advisory team, which aims to become a leading global firm by 2030.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience building integrated financial models for corporate finance and transaction-related projects
- Strong understanding of debt and equity financing structures, valuations and M&A principles
- Proficiency in Excel with exposure to data analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx or similar
- Strong commercial acumen
- Attention to detail
- The ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and complex corporate structures
- CFA, CA(SA) or ACCA qualification (or equivalent professional qualification)
