Job Summary
Conduct supply/demand fundamental analytical projects by tracking North American and International drilling activities, world oil and gas production inventories, Western Canadian field receipts, pipeline utilization rates, and weather-related databases. Execute technical price analytical projects including tracking crude oil and natural gas prices, differentials, and crack spreads. Prepare weekly budgeted natural gas pricing using database and spreadsheet software while assisting in monthly tracking of Canadian Natural's Natural Gas Liquids production. Requires current enrollment in a 2nd or 3rd year Accounting, Finance, or Business program with strong analytical skills. Schedule includes 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours daily from May or September 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 2nd or 3rd year degree program in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates intending to pursue an accounting designation (e.g. CPA)
- Candidates intending to pursue other finance designation (e.g. CFA)
- Previous oil and gas marketing experience
