Job Summary
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while reviewing dashboards, cash flow analyses, and monthly reconciliations. Manage daily liquidity, working capital, and foreign exchange exposure through bank partnerships and treasury strategies. Oversee grower accounting, settlement processes, and pool calculations to ensure accurate payments and transparent financial controls. Direct the finance team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support ERP implementation and process automation projects. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations across Mexico, the USA, and Peru, and facilitate external audits. This strategic role supports sustainable growth within a dynamic international fresh produce export business, influencing performance and leading finance transformation initiatives across the Americas operation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- 8–10 years' experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance leadership position
- Proven experience managing month-end, year-end and audit processes
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Accounting Qualification such as CA(SA), CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- Experience within the fresh produce, agriculture or export industry
- NetSuite
- Power BI
- Working knowledge of tax environments in Mexico, the USA and Peru
