Financial Manager

Lead monthly close and financial reporting across UK GAAP/IFRS, including preparation of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, AR/AP ageing, WIP schedules and KPI packs. Ensure monthly reconciliations, accruals, payroll and tax journals, and oversee year-end audit activities with external auditors. Maintain and strengthen the financial control framework, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies, and drive governance and continuous improvement. Manage daily cash flow, rolling liquidity forecasts, and provide weekly cash flow reporting to executives. Oversee billing, revenue recognition, project finance, AP/expenses approvals, and contractor payments; support operational teams in resolving billing queries. Lead statutory reporting across VAT and corporate taxes, manage external audits, and optimize finance systems (preferably NetSuite) and related process improvements. Build strong cross-functional partnerships with operational, commercial, and executive leadership to support growing business needs and acquisitions or transformations.
