Financial Management Analyst

Job Summary
Treasury-focused financial management role supporting World Vision’s program delivery across donor-funded activities. Responsible for liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, consolidation of partner funding into grant-level forecasts, banking and mobile money operations, foreign exchange hedging, and ensuring donor and internal policy compliance. Collaborates with FP&A and Shared Services for cash flow alignment, prepares funding requests and treasury reports, manages investment accounts (gratuity and severance funds), and supports audit readiness. Requires a first degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent ACCA/CIMA) with at least 5 years NGO finance experience, strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, Sun Systems/related software, and ability to lead and train staff.
Required Qualifications
- First degree in Accounting or Finance and/or professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a finance role in NGO environment
- In-depth working knowledge of accounting software packages; Sun Systems, Vision XL and Vision Executive
- In-depth working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
- In-depth working knowledge of grant accounting
- Knowledge of preparing, reviewing, and presenting financial statements and financial reports
- Ability to hire, train, equip, deploy, lead, and motivate staff
- Experience in financial forecasting and cash management, hedging and forex
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication
