Financial Management Analyst

Job Summary
Analyst - Treasury Management responsible for ensuring effective liquidity management, safeguarding donor funds, and supporting program delivery through sound financial practices. The role involves monitoring cash flow across multiple projects and funding streams, forecasting short- and long-term cash needs, and managing relationships with banks, mobile money institutions and financial partners to optimize transactions and minimize costs. The analyst ensures compliance with donor requirements, internal policies, and regulatory standards, while mitigating financial risks such as currency fluctuations and funding delays. Additionally, the position supports strategic decision-making by providing accurate treasury reports, advising on funds invested for staff gratuity, pensions and severance funds, and collaborating with finance and program teams to align treasury operations with organizational objectives and program priorities.
Required Qualifications
- First degree in Accounting or Finance and/or ACCA or CIMA
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a finance role in NGO environment
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of Sun Systems, Vision XL and Vision Executive, PowerBI, Kariba
- Experience in financial forecasting and cash management, hedging and forex
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
