Job Summary
Conduct short-range and long-range financial planning, programming, budgeting, forecasting, and funding analysis for assigned acquisition programs. Analyze, monitor, and execute Foreign Military Sales, Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, and other appropriated funding sources while developing financial reports, briefings, and executive-level presentations. Track obligations, expenditures, and execution metrics across weapon system portfolios, then conduct financial reviews and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and audit readiness. Provide financial guidance to program managers regarding funding availability and assess impacts of program changes throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Coordinate with contracting, logistics, and engineering teams to align financial resources with mission requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Active Secret Clearance OR the ability to obtain and maintain
- 2+ years of experience in financial management, budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, or program financial support
- Experience supporting government-funded programs, contracts, or acquisition efforts
- Experience preparing financial reports, budget documentation, and funding analyses
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools for data analysis and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
- Experience with USAI, BPC, SDAF, FRA, or other security assistance funding sources
- Experience supporting Department of War acquisition programs or ACAT I weapon system programs
- Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
- Experience supporting missile, munitions, or defense weapon system portfolios
