Financial Management Analyst

Job Summary

Monitor and report on financial activities, including budget planning, formulation, and execution. Process funding allocations and perform funds-control management while conducting data analysis to ensure program compliance. Provide expert advice on program funding needs and assist in developing annual and multi-year budgets. Analyze financial trends, cost drivers, and resource requirements to support data-driven decisions. Contribute to requirements documents, cost estimates, facility technical proposals, and integrated master schedules. Review project financial data for compliance with directives and support financial audits. Requires Top Secret clearance and over ten years of federal financial management experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, current DoD or DHS Top Secret clearance (current and fully adjudicated)
  • More than ten (10+) years of experience in federal financial management, budgeting, and appropriations
  • Proficiency in federal government programs and budget formation/execution, appropriation law, and federal financial management regulations
  • High proficiency communicating with DHS officials, government stakeholders, and industry leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate financial data analysis to stakeholders to prevent inaccuracies and financial issues
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and MS Project

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
  • Previous financial management experience supporting DHS or USSS
