Job Summary
Financial Literacy & Business Instructor needed for after-school programs. Lead discussion- and project-based sessions to teach practical financial literacy, budgeting, banking, credit, investing, entrepreneurship, pricing, marketing, and customer experience. Adapt lessons for different ages, foster an inclusive learning environment, guide students through simple finance/entrepreneurship projects, and coordinate with site staff while tracking attendance. On-site at partner schools in Sacramento, with 1–4 hours per week across ~10 weeks; compensation starts at $50+ per instructional hour and is flexible by experience, program, and commute. Requires strong communication, facilitation, and the ability to explain concepts clearly in a real-world, hands-on setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 college credits
- Background in business, finance, entrepreneurship, or related field
- Experience working with students or groups
