Job Summary
Finance Lead at a global law firm overseeing analytical insights from financial data to support senior firm leaders. Collaborates with partners, associates, and cross-functional teams (Business Development, Attorney Development, Pro Bono, Knowledge Management, and Strategic Library Services) to improve client retention, optimize staffing, reduce fee write-offs, and evaluate client/value opportunities. Responsibilities include identifying and developing opportunities for the finance team, managing firmwide financial projects with project-management principles, applying finance and accounting principles using SAP Business Objects and Excel, handling the team’s shared emails, developing standard reporting tools, and safeguarding confidential information. The role may offer a flexible hybrid/office schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field
- A minimum of five (5) years of analytical experience in finance or accounting
- A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience at a professional services organization, preferably
- Possess excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the team
- Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
