Job Summary

Financial Investigator responsible for planning and conducting investigations, performing analyses of facts and evidence from multiple sources, preparing results to support prosecutorial objectives, and developing understanding of applicable law to guide investigations. Role involves verifying relationships among facts and documents, analyzing financial data and sources of information, preparing interim and final reports, testifying in court as required, and assisting in planning, scheduling, and conducting investigations with paralegals and supervisory attorneys. Requires experience with complex investigations, data analysis, and familiarity with federal fraud types such as money laundering, wire, mail, bank, health care, and procurement fraud; candidate should be proficient with electronic databases, document analysis, and presenting evidence for litigation. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years experience in planning and conducting civil or criminal complex investigations concerning misuse of public, private, or insurance funds.
  • Working knowledge of current investigative techniques including the use of commercial databases and other sources of information.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
