Financial Inventory and Closing Reviewer

Job Summary
Prepare qualitative reconciliations per the Blackline matrix and approve reviews within defined timelines. Monitor monthly reconciliations between inventory management and SAP financial systems, ensuring correct accounting for BD's Switzerland intercompany and trade entities. Execute month- and quarter-end closing activities while facilitating closing meetings with local finances and HQ reporting. Ensure prescribed internal and SOX controls are executed on time, report audit action plans, and serve as the point of contact for external auditors. Lead or participate in project teams to support new business or process implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience
- Strong customer orientation (Countries, Businesses, and Functions)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft PC tools
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Collaborate and build relationships with all partners
- Influence all levels of management through informed discussions and presentations
- Strong general accounting skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP
