Job Summary
Conduct face-to-face interviews with patients and families to gather sensitive financial information regarding Nemours treatment costs. Advise clients on available Medicaid programs, financial assistance options, and payment arrangements while coordinating with insurance carriers to verify benefits and determine out-of-pocket obligations. Respond to internal referrals and external calls regarding billing inquiries, charity care applications, and claim discrepancies, ensuring accurate documentation and reconciliation of payment plans. Support Medicaid enrollment processes and collaborate with Authorization and Patient Cost Estimate teams to identify self-pay patients and manage high-dollar accounts. Meet daily metrics for call center performance and accurate payment posting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- 1 year of specialized training beyond high school
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
