Job Summary

Conduct initial and annual financial reviews for individuals and families, ensuring documentation is completed and submitted timely. Communicate regularly with contracted providers to verify financial status and flag expiring financials to prevent service interruptions. Enter pertinent data into various systems while maintaining compliance with TAC requirements, UM, and Medicaid guidelines. Provide clear explanations of available services and financial responsibilities to clients and staff within a trauma-informed, person-centered care model. Report directly to the Manager of Authority Support and collaborate with the treatment team to meet individual needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Ability to explain available services and financial responsibility
  • Ability to accurately enter data and other pertinent information into various systems

Desired Qualifications

  • Some college or technical education
  • Two years' experience in an office or medical office setting
  • Experience and/or training in medical billing / medical office / insurance verification
  • Bilingual
