Job Summary

Design, research, and implement financial education programs that support the Credit Union's strategic goals by analyzing community needs and literacy trends. Establish partnerships with internal stakeholders and external organizations to execute literacy campaigns, tools, and curriculum development. Oversee scholarship and educational grant programs while creating training materials and communications. Collaborate with partners to launch initiatives that promote financial literacy for members, employees, and the broader community.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in a Marketing, Communications, Training & Development or a related field
  • Ability to maintain and strengthen HSFCU partnerships and build new relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, including social and emotional intelligence
  • Creative and agile, curating experiences to connect with the audience
  • Experience using and creating slide decks in Canva, PowerPoint, etc
  • Proactive and takes initiative to create and execute responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Position is located at the HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu

  • Examples of previous outreach materials on social media or written outreach communications
  • Has existing Hawaii/local community partnerships and relationships
  • Thorough understanding of financial service products and related applications
