Job Summary
Perform data intake tasks by scrubbing and validating financial data for research and ratings use. Apply Moody's standards to produce inputs including adjusted data, key indicators, ratios, and charts. Review financial reports and official statements to understand issuer performance. Collaborate with ratings analysts to clarify data capture requirements and mapping issues. Manage priorities to deliver newsletters, database maintenance, and ad-hoc support within established deadlines. Maintain accuracy and quality control across all operational processes. Join the Structured Finance Analytic Data Operations team to enhance data processes using Gen AI-enabled solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Business/Accounting
- Strong understanding of finance, financial statements, and capital markets fundamentals
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills, with the ability to investigate data issues, perform basic root-cause analysis, and contribute to data quality improvement initiatives
- Understanding of data management and data quality principles, with the ability to work with datasets, perform data validation checks, and support data analysis, reporting, and operational processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver high-quality outcomes within established deadlines, and maintain a strong focus on accuracy, quality control, and process consistency
- Proficiency in data visualization and communication, including creating charts, graphs, and dashboards, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency across the wider Microsoft Office suite
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant experience of up to 1 years in credit/financial data analysis/structured finance domain and interpretation is an added advantage
- German/Italian/French language will be an added advantage
- Any knowledge in SQL, Python, PowerBI etc. will be an added advantage
