Job Summary
Financial Analyst / Data Analyst role combining financial modeling (3-statement models, ROI/IRR, break-even analyses) with data analytics to deliver actionable insights for leadership. Responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, forecasting and budgeting, performing variance analyses, developing KPI dashboards, and partnering with FP&A, finance, and operations to translate data into strategic recommendations. Proficient in SQL, Excel (pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, lookups), and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker); experience with Python or R and ERP data sources (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle) is a plus. Strong communication skills for executive-level reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business intelligence, or data analytics
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets including pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, lookup formulas, and modeling
- Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing datasets
- Experience preparing variance analyses, forecasting models, and management reports
- Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize findings clearly
- Experience using Python or R for analytics (preferred)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) (preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) (preferred)
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and KPI frameworks (preferred)
- Exposure to automation or advanced reporting workflows (preferred)
