Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Access, and Excel to extract, transform, and visualize data from multiple systems. Partner with operational, clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to gather requirements, develop data models, and produce standard and ad hoc reports. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems while documenting sources, definitions, and reporting logic. Identify opportunities to automate processes and support data governance efforts. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical users. This onsite role in Des Moines, Iowa, supports enterprise-wide reporting needs within the Finance department, requiring 2-4 years of experience and proficiency in data structures and quality best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (dashboard development and visualization)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (data querying and manipulation)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel
- Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple systems
- Strong understanding of data structures, reporting design, and data quality best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ability to communicate data insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- Some travel may be required
