Job Summary
Analyze compensation-related calculations and post recurring and ad hoc journal entries, including month-end accruals and adjustments, into Oracle. Perform detailed financial analysis of monthly results, identify variances across key accounts, and complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while partnering with Accounting, Payroll, HR, and Corporate Finance teams. Investigate discrepancies and collaborate on cross-border accounting requirements. Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency through automation. Fulfill audit requests both internally and externally on an ad hoc basis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, or data analytics
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting processes
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, and data analysis techniques
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms
- Ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- High attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functions
Desired Qualifications
- Progress toward a CPA designation is considered an asset
- Experience with Power BI, business intelligence tools, reporting platforms, or data visualization solutions is preferred
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
