Job Summary

Director-level sanctions screening operations role focusing on coverage and optimization. Lead business analysis and project management for sanctions screening initiatives across reference data and transaction screening, convert regulatory expectations into user stories and process documentation, manage project plans and risk logs, collaborate with Compliance, Technology, and Operations to design operationally executable solutions, and support testing, validation, data governance, and audit-ready evidence. Requires strong experience in sanctions screening, AML/financial crime risk, data analysis (Excel; preferably SQL/Python), and ability to produce governance materials and clear deliverables for cross-functional stakeholders; professional certifications (CAMS, CFCS, CFE) are a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or related discipline
  • 5-8+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, sanctions compliance, AML/financial crime risk, or compliance controls within a regulated financial institution
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel; experience with SQL and/or Python
  • Knowledge of sanctions screening frameworks, OFAC/global sanctions regulations, and screening model governance
  • Experience with screening platforms and UAT/implementation validation
