Job Summary
Conduct financial crime investigations across Banking, Markets, and the International Corporate Bank, handling money laundering, bribery, corruption, and sanctions cases. Execute manual reviews of media referrals and internal sources while contributing to investigative procedures and quality assurance frameworks. Ensure adherence to AML and Global Sanctions requirements and drive continuous improvement in investigative controls using data analytics. Manage stakeholder relationships and advise on complex issues to support resolution of escalated matters. This 12-month fixed-term secondment is based in Birmingham, Knutsford, London, or Glasgow.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of conducting financial crime investigations
- A robust understanding of investment banking products & stock markets
- Developed communication skills, with the capability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders
- A curiosity to continuously learn about the financial crime risk environment, including emerging trends and typologies
- Experience with trade surveillance systems
- Understanding of Investment Banking and International Corporate Banking
