Financial Crime & Due Diligence Analyst

Job Summary

Conduct 'know your customer' checks on new and existing third parties, carry out periodic reviews, and classify entities from a risk and regulatory perspective. Perform sanctions, politically exposed persons, and adverse information screening to ensure timely escalation of issues. Liaise with business stakeholders and external parties to obtain documentation and deliver onboarding within service level agreements. Assist with monthly MI reporting on work in progress and key risks. Support the Senior Due Diligence Manager and Senior Financial Crime Manager in preventing, detecting, and mitigating financial crime risks in line with UK Bribery Act, sanctions, and money laundering regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in financial crime due diligence, KYC or customer due diligence (CDD)
  • Understanding of financial crime regulations and working within a regulated environment
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret complex information and make sound risk-based decisions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to build effective relationships across the business
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Ideally you'll be within commuting distance and able to travel to our Windsor office (until December 2026) and Reading office (from January 2027) when required
  • We're also open to considering candidates based elsewhere across the UK

Desired Qualifications

  • ICAC or equivalent professional qualification preferred
