Job Summary
Financial Crime Analyst role focused on transaction monitoring, payment screening, and investigation of suspicious transactions to ensure AML/CFT compliance. Responsibilities include conducting reviews and STRs, collaborating with teammates on escalations and case dispositions, supporting the Financial Crime Lead, ensuring regulatory adherence, and contributing to process improvements and cross-functional projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of relevant AML/CFT experience, knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and screening systems, and strong English communication; fintech/digital banking experience and CAMS/CAFS/ICA certifications are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- 2–4 years of experience in AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, payment screening, or financial crime compliance
- Hands-on experience managing transaction monitoring alerts, conducting investigations, and documenting case findings and recommendations
- Good understanding of AML/CFT regulations, financial crime typologies, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience with transaction monitoring and payment screening systems (sanctions, watchlist, name-screening)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in fintech, digital banking, payments, or digital asset organizations is highly desirable
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, CAFS, ICA, or equivalent financial crime qualifications are advantageous
