Financial Counselor needed at Siouxland Community Health Center to provide enrollment assistance for uninsured patients and residents, focusing on subsidized and low-cost health insurance programs via the marketplace, Medicaid, and State Family Planning. Responsibilities include patient education on health insurance coverage, follow-up conversations, renewal assistance, assisting with outreach initiatives, distributing outreach materials to build awareness, and attending community events to promote health coverage options and enrollment services. Bilingual Spanish preferred; requires strong communication, advanced computer/data entry skills, medical terminology knowledge, and experience in medical offices or insurance. Pre-employment screenings and E-Verify participation are noted as part of the process.
