Financial Counselor I

Performs Medicaid application processes, financial assistance processes, price estimation, and other assistance programs; serves as support staff for uninsured and under-insured patients by connecting to resources and establishing a clear path to revenue recovery; conducts Medicaid intake, SSI, FAP and CHC application processes; collects deductible and co-pays, coordinates with clinical/state resources to ensure timely enrollment, and supports enrollment with Medicaid primary care physicians; collaborates on no-surprise-billing compliance and follows through on follow-ups and documentation.
