Job Summary
Obtain patient insurance and financial information to determine estimates and collect on estimated patient liabilities, including copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances after financial assistance is applied. Conduct daily cash reconciliation, deposit functions, and notifications to recently discharged patients regarding unpaid liabilities. Run and monitor missed collection opportunity reports to make at least three documented daily attempts to contact inpatient patients, while collaborating with case management on regulatory form completion and denial root cause analysis. Complete various follow-up reports, clear unbilled accounts, and submit CFO escalations for uncollected liabilities in compliance with financial clearance policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- CRCR

- 1 - 3 years of customer service experience
- Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences
