Financial Counselor Clinic, FT

The Financial Counselor II is the entry-level role in Patient Access Services. Responsibilities include coordinating patient financial processing from scheduling through discharge, ensuring estimated financial liability is communicated prior to service, coordinating payment options with patients, and handling front-end financial activities across pre-admission, admission, pre-registration, registration, and cashiering functions. Requires strong verbal/written communication, attention to detail, ability to work with patients and staff, and collaboration with others. Prior experience in hospital admissions or related offices is preferred. Education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent. Training includes internal examinations to demonstrate mastery of PAS computer applications and overall PAS competencies.
