Job Summary
Lead the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets Department as Financial Counsellor and Director, providing intellectual leadership on financial sector, capital markets, and central banking issues. Responsibilities include preparation of the Global Financial Stability Report (GSFR); management of the joint Bank-Fund Financial Stability Assessment Program; delivery of a large program of technical assistance on financial sector policy issues; global thought leadership on financial and monetary issues; engaging with international regulatory bodies; facilitating research to cement IMF’s role as a thought leader; representing the IMF in international fora and serving on the IMF's senior management team. The role requires extensive experience in financial sector, capital markets, and central banking, with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; familiarity with IMF work and related policy issues; and the ability to interact with policymakers, international bodies, and media.”,
