Job Summary

Review daily invoices against treatment sheets and medical records to accurately capture services and goods. Calculate daily balances, communicate financial updates, and collect payments while educating clients on options like Care Credit and Pet Insurance. Finalize invoices prior to discharge and apply discounts per established accounting practices. Perform weekly or monthly audits of historical billing, create reports for leadership, and coach staff on audit findings. Enter charges for outpatient ER cases in real time and assist with accounts receivable collections.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of Work Experience in Customer Service, Billing/Invoicing, Booking Keeping, Auditing or a related field
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading)
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Highly skilled in accurately completing administrative work
  • Previous experience handling money: cash and credit card payments
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and mathematical calculations
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a medical environment with high stress, critical patients, and death

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year of work experience in human or veterinary medicine (CSR, Veterinary Assistant, Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, Medical Assistant, Coder, etc.)
  • Work experience utilizing an Electronic Medical Record
  • Work experience in Customer Service
  • Fluency in multiple languages
