Job Summary
Financial Controlling Manager overseeing credit, cash and accounting controls for the Benelux region; lead a 3-person team to optimize cash collection, credit risk, DSO/DPO targets, and master data governance, while delivering accurate reporting, KPI analytics, and process improvements across ERP-based systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5-7 years of experience in external audit, financial controlling or treasury functions
- Proven experience managing a team
- Strong background in cash forecasting, working capital management, and credit analysis
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Soft Skills: English and Dutch/French (ability to present to senior management and work across functions)
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Knowledge of banking systems and cash management platforms
- Familiarity with internal control frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently while managing a small team
- Problem-solving mindset and drive for continuous improvement
- Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability
- Compliance and audit support capabilities
- DSO/DPO optimization experience
- KYC compliance and banking relationships
