Job Summary

Financial Controller responsible for overseeing the financial control environment, robust internal controls, and governance. Lead external audits, manage VAT within a complex structure, and ensure audit readiness and risk management. Maintain system permissions and financial risk controls, review balance sheet reconciliations and month-end outputs, and provide technical accounting judgement to the Finance Director. Role emphasizes leadership, policy formulation, change management, and collaboration to drive impact. Experience with developing and implementing financial control procedures; exposure to charity/not-for-profit, housing or multi-entity environments is highly desirable. ERP Iplicit implementation stewardship and ongoing optimisation are part of the remit. Must be CCAB/CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified and able to lead a finance team and engage with stakeholders to uphold financial discipline and governance.
