Job Summary
Lead Controllership and treasury functions for the Philippine entity, coordinating with SEA and APAC groups to ensure accurate financial results, robust internal controls, and timely statutory reporting. Responsibilities include supporting monthly/quarterly close, governance committee representation, tax coordination (direct/indirect, transfer pricing), coordination with external auditors, and maintaining a compliant control environment (including SOX where required). Manage a headcount in the Philippines and partner with business stakeholders, LFOs, and financial operations teams to drive capital management, financial planning, and strategic execution. Requires a qualified accountant with 10-15 years of experience, strong leadership, deep knowledge of local tax and reporting requirements, and familiarity with Oracle or SUN accounting systems.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant
- approximately 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Strong Leadership capability and stakeholders’ management skills
- Ability to understand and ensure compliance with local reporting requirements
- Strong local tax knowledge and experience (direct and indirect tax) will be an advantage
- Fast learner, proactive in nature and has excellent attention for details
- Good knowledge of Accounting System (e.g. Oracle, SUN) will be an advantage
