Job Summary
Analyze Visa and Mastercard fee structures to identify cost optimization opportunities and monitor pricing updates for their financial impact. Improve the accuracy of scheme fee calculation and merchant allocation while collaborating with payment schemes, processors, and internal teams on fee-related topics. Standardize regulatory reporting processes, monitor requirements for new and existing products, and prepare financial data for internal and external audits. Strengthen financial controls in partnership with Compliance and Product teams. Own scheme cost management and regulatory reporting to directly influence cost management and support the growth of the acquiring business. Build reconciliation processes, fee allocation methodologies, and regulatory reporting standards from scratch.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Audit, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Analysis, Audit or Reporting
- Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience working with large datasets
- Ownership mindset and rigorous attention to detail
- English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Desired Qualifications
- Proactive use of AI tools to improve efficiency and automate routine tasks
- Experience in payments, acquiring, or fintech
- SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- ACCA, CFA, or CIMA (completed or in progress)
