Financial Controller

Financial Controller role within Sandvik Zambia finance organisation focused on governance, financial integrity, IFRS reporting, and internal controls. Responsibilities include timely IFRS-based financial reporting, balance sheet substantiation, coordination of internal/external audits, tax compliance and governance across R2R, P2P, O2C processes, treasury and cash management, and ensuring adherence to Debutation of Authority and Group policies. The role emphasizes control culture, ethical financial behavior, and collaboration with Sales, Legal, Operations, and Group Finance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and a professional qualification (CA Zambia, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Experience in financial reporting, internal controls, tax, and IFRS, plus ERP/workiva familiarity, and strong stakeholder engagement are expected. The position involves leadership of an accounting team and serving as a key finance control contact across multiple functions in a matrixed environment.
