Job Summary
Financial Controller role joining LeydenJar Technologies to oversee daily accounting and treasury activities, lead monthly close, manage accounting policies and ERP settings (including capitalization criteria, 3-way match, revenue recognition, inventory, COGS), ensure Dutch GAAP compliance, prepare consolidated financial statements, lead audits, contribute to ERP/MES/CMMS audit trails, and assist with grant administration and reports. The candidate will have 5+ years in financial accounting/control/audit, hold an HBO/university degree or accounting certificate (RA a plus), be data savvy with ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite preferred), and be fluent in English. The role emphasizes collaboration, integrity with sensitive data, and support for manufacturing readiness within a diverse international team.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years experience in financial accounting, control or audit
- HBO or university degree or an accountancy certificate (RA is a big plus)
- Experience with auditors and leading audit deliverables
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data
- Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
